Discover the prestigious accolades of the European Baseball Coaches Association (EBCA), celebrating remarkable individuals who have significantly advanced baseball in Europe. Established to recognize exceptional contributions, the EBCA Career Achievement Award has been a beacon since its inception. Additionally, the EBCA Coach of the Year Award, inaugurated in 2008, commends outstanding coaching achievements within the past year.
Join us at the annual convention where these esteemed awards are presented. Through a meticulous selection process, coaches who have made significant impacts on European baseball are duly honored.
In addition to the Coach of the Year (COY) and Career Achievement (CAA) awards, the program also bestows the Grassroots Award, acknowledging coaches who excel in youth development and grassroots initiatives. Through 2025 these recognitions were presented as EBCA Awards. From 2026 onward, the program continues as EBSCA Baseball Awards and EBSCA Softball Awards.

Take part in the EBCA Coach of the Year Award election process.
The European Baseball Coaches Association is proud to present the election process for the EBCA Coach of the Year Award. The EBCA wants to give everyone interested in European baseball a chance to be part of the process. If you know a coach who deserves credit for recent achievements, submit the coach's name with a short resume and achievements from the past year. If you want to take it a step further and vote for the coach you feel deserves it most, sign up with EBCA and get access to the poll.
Nominations including a description of the coach's achievements during the past 12 months need to be submitted by October 15 at the latest. Anyone can submit a motivated nomination.
Each EBCA board member will evaluate each candidate and grade each one from 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest score. The membership record of each candidate will be taken into account in the pre-election process. These rankings will be collected by the EBCA Award Committee, which will nominate the three highest scoring candidates to the EBCA membership to vote on.
EBCA members will receive the right to vote on one of the remaining three candidates. The votes of the EBCA membership will count for 35% of the overall result.
Baseball enthusiasts across the globe can also vote for their favorite candidate. The general voting accounts for 35% of the overall result. The votes from the EBCA staff account for the final 30% of the result.
The recipient of the Coach of the Year Award will be announced at the upcoming EBCA Convention.
The Grassroots Award recipient is elected according to the exact same pattern. From 2026 onward, the process applies to the EBSCA Baseball Awards and EBSCA Softball Awards.
