1985 graduate of Creighton University, with BA in Psychology, also holds a BS in History Education, M.Ed in Educational Administration and was ABD in Leadership Studies before being hired by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2012.
Coached small college and high school baseball for 10+ years, and has experience in the business world as owner of a financial planning and investment advisory firm. Has published two peer-reviewed articles on the topic of stress within athletes, and served as a sport psychology consultant for several college baseball, softball, and basketball programs as well as the Philadelphia Phillies. Began career with Cardinals as Rookie League pitching coach in Johnson City Tennessee, and after two seasons served as Rehab Pitching Coach, Assistant Pitching Coordinator, and now is Manager of Pitching Analytics.
Since 2014 has managed Cardinals pitching mechanics analysis group, providing support to both scouting and player development departments.
